Shocking revelations have surfaced in the Meerpet woman's murder case, where Gurumurthy, a retired army jawan and DRDO security officer, allegedly killed his wife, Madhavi, and meticulously planned to dispose of her remains. This horrifying crime has left investigators and the community in shock as chilling details of the case continue to unfold.

According to reports, Gurumurthy grew suspicious of Madhavi and harbored doubts about her for some time, leading to escalating conflicts between the couple. As part of a premeditated plan, he reportedly sent their children to their grandmother's home for the Sankranthi festival. On the night of January 13, a heated argument ensued between the couple. In a fit of rage, Madhavi threw her tali bead at him, prompting Gurumurthy to fatally slam her head against the wall.

In an attempt to cover up the crime, Gurumurthy allegedly dismembered Madhavi’s body using a mutton knife and other sharp tools available at home. Reports suggest he then used a water heater and pressure cooker to separate the flesh from the bones, dried the remains, and ground the bones into powder. He is said to have disposed of the remains by wrapping them in plastic covers and throwing them into the Jillelaguda pond. To eliminate evidence, he meticulously cleaned the house using phenol and other chemicals, ensuring no traces of blood or foul play were left behind.

Two days later, on January 16, when Madhavi's parents visited their home, Gurumurthy reportedly claimed she had left after a quarrel. On January 18, he accompanied Madhavi’s mother to the Meerpet police station and filed a missing person complaint. However, police grew suspicious of Gurumurthy and detained him for questioning. During the interrogation, he allegedly confessed to the brutal crime.

While Gurumurthy’s confession has provided chilling details of the murder, police are grappling with inconsistencies in the account. Investigators are questioning the feasibility of executing such a gruesome act without leaving any evidence, such as bloodstains or physical remains, at the scene or in the pond where he claims to have disposed of the body.

The police have yet to release an official statement as the investigation continues. Doubts linger—did Gurumurthy truly carry out this horrific act, or is there another layer to this case?
